Dr. Jill Stein Announces Formation of Exploratory Committee For 2016 Presidential Bid Declaring “It’s Time For A New Society, A New Economy, A New Way Forward.”

At a Press Conference this morning, Dr. Jill Stein told the assembled media, guests, and a live TV audience tuning into C-Span that she is “testing the waters” and forming an exploratory committee to seek the Green Party nomination for President of the United States. The declaration came just hours after Dr. Stein’s exclusive interview with ABC News made a splash on the Yahoo News homepage. (Watch the full ABC News video here.)

In her prepared remarks, Stein noted that the “demand for deep change has grown to a fevered pitch. Workers are fighting for living wages and the right to a union. Students are demanding an end to college debt that’s crippled a generation. Young people are leading the courageous Black Lives Matter movement to end police militarization and racist violence,” she said. “Momentum is growing against abusive high stakes testing that forces poor kids down the deadly school to prison pipeline. The fight is building against predatory mass incarceration. Hard-working immigrants are standing up for a humane path to citizenship, not simply a 3-year deferral of deportation. Frontline and Indigenous communities are leading the resistance to toxic fossil fuels that threaten to disrupt civilization as we know it in our lifetime.”

Stein was the Green Party’s 2012 candidate for President of the United States. She is an organizer, physician, and pioneering environmental-health advocate. She has helped lead initiatives promoting healthy communities, local green economies and stronger democracy – including campaign finance reform, green jobs, racially-just redistricting, and the cleanup of incinerators, coal plants, and toxic-pesticides.

Speaking to the potential that Dr. Stein represents to the groups traditionally tied to the Democratic Party, such as the Labor Movement, Richard Monje, a Union leader with the group Chicago and Mid-West Regional Joint Board of Workers Unite, issued the following statement:

"Jill Stein will be a voice in the electoral arena that will represent all workers and will fight for our right to unionize. As long as the Union movement allies itself with the Democratic Party only, the power of workers in general, and Unions specifically, will continue to decline.”

And Dr. Margaret Flowers, an organizer with Popular Resistance, said of Dr. Stein: 

"I am glad to see that she has the energy and persistence to consider running for President again in 2016. She has great integrity, a deep understanding of the root causes of the many crises we face and the courage to challenge the system so that we can create a healthier and more sustainable society and planet."

Also urging Dr. Stein to run for President in 2016 were Anita Rios, the 2014 Green Party nominee for Governor of Ohio, along with local recording artist Head Roc, know worldwide as the “Mayor of DC Hip Hop.” Both Rios and Head Roc spoke at the news conference today; video of their remarks will be available for the press at Jill2016.com by late Friday afternoon.

In closing, Dr. Stein told the assembled media and guests, “This is the time to come together. Solutions are in our hands. Justice is in our hands. Democracy is in our hands. Together we can create a world that works for all of us, and ensure that People, Planet and Peace will prevail. It’s in our hands.”

The Border.

            Many people are angry because of the Border between Mexico and the U.S.. But really they shouldn't be as angry as they are. The media has blown this away and have taken away Americans skill of thinking. The media is like a Pez dispenser of lies and opinions. And these lies have made Americans forget that this nation was made of immigrants before and after we declared independence. 

But my main point is we should welcome these immigrants in. These immigrants are requesting safety from their unsafe, tyrannical, and war torn countries. A step to stop these massive surges, and not use tax-payers dollars on them is simple, but the media and big government has stopped you from thinking of a good and great solution. The first and most important is to stop the war on drugs. Thousands have been affected by this stupid war. First we must legalize marijuana. This is a massive step to ending the war on drugs and also brings in new business and jobs. This will help the economy and families desperate for jobs. I mean if cigarettes and alcohol can be legal why can't marijuana?

Second, we must get rid of the immigration process we have now. Every year the process we have hurts the economy and lives. Most of the immigrants that come to America are looking for work and for that intention their usually turned away. They are turned away because of Americans labor laws. 

Also people are unhappy because these immigrants will be rewarded citizenship and will be living off the tax payers dollars. This can be completely ignored. Their are over 320 million organizations in the United States that will offer food and shelter and help them their are also people willing to give them work. So why should we stop them from coming? Of course we'll have to test these immigrants for diseases and other things to make sure the security of our Nation and its civilians are ensured but, this plan is a good way to stop the war on drugs, help families, and help the American economy.

But for all of this can only be done if we the people make our voices heard to our government. And we must tell them what must be done. If a solution similar to this can be done, we'll be a happier and safer world. Not to mention thousands will get good working jobs. A easy solution we've been waiting for.

Washington's fears come true?

           

               Have George Washington's fears come true? When George Washington became President of the United States in 1797, he did not join a political party nor did he want ANY formed. I bet many of you are asking, "Why?" And the answer is George Washington did not want political parties having conflict, which could undermine the Republic of the United States.

During this time then Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton formed the Federalist Party, and Thomas Jefferson formed the Jeffersonian-Republicans. During this time these two parties had a First Class Party System, were these two parties were competing for control of the Presidency, for Congress, and the States. These parties completely ignored the people and the Republic, and only concerned on CONTROL. But these actions have lead to the very same thing that is happening today in the United States of America, were control is bringing America down piece by piece. But have Washington's fears come true a second time?

Today in America two parties dominate the government these parties are the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. These parties have become like the Federalist party and Jeffersonian-Republicans party. They want CONTROL!  They have left their and America's principals and just have a label. They only care for having control. This tho has had a negative impact on America.

During the past hundred years the Republican party and the Democratic Party have been in a battle. A battle for their party to have control, a battle for their party to dominate in politics and history of their nation. But this is affecting America so negatively. Today politicians argue and get nothing done, politicians take no action, ignore their fellow Americans, ignore the constitution, and ignore the laws. 

This has resulted in our rights being taken away, no justice, no action, just a bunch of arguing. So the answer is yes Washington's fears have come true a second time. But this can be stopped now, and it can be stopped in the future....... To be continued next week

Our Government taking our right of privacy.

                             Every year our rights are taken from. Our government passes laws making them more powerful and us much weaker. We don't have a say in things and we're seen as "dummies". Our Founding Fathers made this a nation with government for the people by the people. But since then our government has become powerful, greedy, corrupt, and more dictating.

What Americans need to realize is our government has taken our rights laws that have been created by events in recent history. Some of these laws are the Patriot Act and the Affordable Care Act.

The Patriot Act isn't so patriot as you may think. This law gives the government permission to SPY on Americans. You can be a great and kind person of the community, but if the Government thinks your a terrorist, they can spy on you without the courts or your permission. How does that make you feel that your government would do that?

This is just ONE piece of legislation that takes away your right to privacy and live your life. Some of you may be asking, "How do we get rid of this law?", and the answer is Congress has to repeal it. One reason is they went against the constitution and passed a law that hurts our right to privacy and to persuit happiness in our lives. And congress can't say no to the constitution. America it is time to wake up and realize our rights are being taken, to realize that the left and right are the problem and not the solution. And when America realizes these things, then we'll truly have our rights and have a government for the people ran by the people.
